During the inauguration of Cemetery Market Road Phase 1 in Aba, Governor Otti articulated his clear vision for Aba’s development, emphasizing that his administration is strategically allocating resources to projects with the greatest potential for enhancing the economic and social well-being of residents.
Joined by his Deputy, Ikechukwu Emetu, and key members of his cabinet, Governor Otti presided over the commissioning of Phase 1 of Cemetery Road, Shalom Road, and Emelogu Road.
Representing the contractors, Engr. Ifeanyi Okorie of Rock Result Group assured that these road projects, initiated in early July, would provide significant relief to commuters in the area. He further guaranteed that the newly constructed roads were built to endure for the next five decades.
Engr. Don Oti, the Commissioner for Works, encouraged the road beneficiaries to reciprocate the government’s investment by taking on the responsibility of maintaining the roads keeping them free from litter and drainage obstructions. He stressed the paramount importance of maintaining and preserving road infrastructure in the administration’s agenda.
Governor Otti’s visit drew a large crowd, including traders, traditional leaders, representatives of transport unions, and loyal party members, reflecting the community’s strong support and enthusiasm for the road development initiatives.
