Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh has extended a plea for assistance in connecting with the distressed Nigerian singer, Joshua Iniyezo, widely recognized as Solid Star. Recent reports have indicated that the ‘Omotena’ vocalist has been grappling with mental health challenges, prompting concerns about his well-being.
The news initially emerged on Monday, shedding light on Solid Star’s struggles with mental health issues. The singer’s brother, Sunday, took to social media platforms to share his sibling’s condition with the singer’s devoted fan base.
Compounding the concern was a video that surfaced on Instagram, capturing Solid Star wandering the streets barefooted. The distressing visuals ignited reactions from internet users who expressed dismay over the singer’s unfortunate situation.
In response to this distressing development, Tonto Dikeh utilized her Instagram platform on Thursday to make a heartfelt request. She implored her followers and the online community to aid her in establishing communication with any member of Solid Star’s family or management. Dikeh’s emotional message underlined the strong bond they share, revealing that Solid Star had been unwavering in his support of her musical aspirations.
She wrote, “How can I get through to Solidstar’s family or management? That’s my street blood mehn, dude was ready to sacrifice it all for me to do well musically, na me no just hear word.
“Never charged a penny, never agreed to a gift, not even a hug, such a selfless human; I’m hurting that he has strong men and he is still outside.
“Please, team, point me in the right direction.”
Dikeh and Solid Star collaborated on the record ‘Sheba’ back in 2013.
