The leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has conveyed a cautionary message to the President of the United States, Joe Biden, advising against the notion of intervening in Niger Republic after the recent coup that deposed President Mohammed Bazoum.
Ayodele firmly cautioned that any attempt to interfere with the Niger Republic would challenge divine forces, potentially triggering global conflict. The Primate suggested that this course of action could even be interpreted as a precursor to a third world war.
This advisory was prompted by remarks by the US acting Deputy Secretary, Victoria Nuland, urging the junta to reinstate Bazoum as the leader.
Nonetheless, Ayodele contended that a US intervention in the Niger Republic is a dangerous and extremist action that might invoke divine retribution.
In a statement released through his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele urged President Biden to respect the right of the people of Niger Republic to shape their destiny without the external imposition of democracy.
The Primate articulated that a US-led intervention in Niger Republic could potentially exacerbate global instability.
He remarked, “A potential US invasion of Niger Republic carries dark undertones of extremism and terror. Such an action may inadvertently invite the wrath of the divine. It is comparable to defying the will of God and risks triggering a third world war, something that goes against the divine order.”
He continued, “I implore the United States to refrain from meddling in Niger’s affairs. This is a message from the divine. Intervening in Niger is tantamount to challenging divine forces. If this occurs, the consequences for the US will be grave. Such an act would cast a shadow over Joe Biden’s administration and jeopardize his prospects for a second term. Let us not embark on this dangerous path; it is unwise to initiate a global conflict.”
