Mr. Ben Odunzeh, the gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Imo State, is committed to addressing insecurity and upholding the rule of law if elected.
In a statement released by his media officer, Mr. Joshua Elekwachi, after a meeting with stakeholders and youth organizations in the state, Odunzeh emphasized his determination to ensure a transparent and accountable electoral system throughout the election process.
“We are fully aware of the recent electoral challenges faced by Imo State, raising concerns about the credibility of the electoral process. Our primary focus is on the welfare of the people and safeguarding their democratic rights,” stated Odunzeh.
He pledged to stand against voter intimidation, ballot box stuffing, and any other electoral malpractices that threaten the integrity of the election.
Furthermore, Odunzeh expressed his commitment to running a policy-based political process devoid of mudslinging and focusing on the issues that matter most to the people.
