The National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) lauds the conclusion of the elections and applauds President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to building the Nigeria of our dreams. In an interactive session themed ‘#puttingnigeriafirst#’ held in Abuja, Olusegun Runsewe, the director-general of NCAC, called upon all Nigerians to support President Tinubu’s government and transcend religious and ethnic differences.
Mr. Runsewe expressed concern over the lingering election mood in the country, with some individuals still fixated on issues of ethnicity and religious divisions. He stressed the importance of leaving behind such divisive factors and unifying as a nation to propel progress and development.
“This meeting serves as a strategic response to our current socio-political situation, aiming to address the prevailing hostility within our society,” explained the NCAC chief. “We must prioritize Nigeria in all our actions as citizens. With the conclusion of the 2023 general elections and the inauguration of a new administration, we must rally behind His Excellency President Bola Tinubu, who has pledged to lead an all-inclusive government of national unity, reconciliation, and competence.
The rebuilding of the Nigeria of our dreams is well underway, with Mr. President demonstrating remarkable competence, commitment, and unwavering determination to restore hope in our great nation.”
Mr. Runsewe urged Nigerians to embrace President Tinubu’s leadership and offer the necessary support to propel the nation forward.
