Former Nigerian Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has been appointed a Global Advisor to the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP).
Osinbajo confirmed the appointment in a series of tweets on Tuesday. He said he was honored to be appointed to the role and looked forward to working with GEAPP to accelerate the deployment of clean energy worldwide.
“GEAPP, in such a short period, has demonstrated a commitment to support developing countries shift to clean energy using models that ensure universal energy access as well as drive economic growth, generate jobs & sustainable livelihoods, and meet urgent climate goals.
