During an interview on the Morning Show of Arise Television, Lotanna mentioned that most Igbos engage in business activities throughout Nigeria because they have faith in the country’s unity.
Lotanna stated, “Many of the Igbo population does not subscribe to the idea of ‘Biafra.’ They aspire to attain equal opportunities and recognition within Nigeria. If we are truly inclined towards isolation, why would countless Igbos reside and conduct business across Nigeria and Africa?”
Earlier, Eyewitness9ja reported that Lotanna called upon President Bola Tinubu to release Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Lotanna argued that Kanu’s release would serve as a solution to the escalating violence triggered by the sit-at-home protests in the Southeast region.
