The Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja has witnessed a total of 313 students being withdrawn, as stated by Uredo Omale, the Head of Public Relations and Protocol Unit of the institution, in a statement released on Friday.
These students were removed from the institution due to their poor academic performance.
The decision to withdraw them was made after the Academic Board Central Result Verification Committee reviewed their performance and presented a report during a board meeting held at the Polytechnic’s main campus in Lokoja.

Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman, the Chairman of the Board and Rector of the Polytechnic, emphasized that this action was taken to uphold high academic standards and cultivate capable academic representatives.
The withdrawn students were enrolled in 28 programs across 17 departments.
