Joyce Ijeoma, a Nigerian woman, intends to undertake a 72-hour marathon of providing body massages to individuals in the Lekki area of Lagos State. In a viral video shared on the internet, Ijeoma revealed her ambition to establish a new Guinness World Record for the longest continuous body massage lasting 72 hours.
As part of her preparation for this remarkable achievement, the Lagos-based woman mentioned that she has already performed more than 18 hours of massage. Her goal is to surpass the previous record set in 2015 by Alastair Galpin in South Kalimantan, Indonesia. Galpin managed to massage for 25 hours and 4 minutes, breaking the previous record.

It is worth noting that another Nigerian, chef Hilda Baci, recently achieved the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon. Baci’s accomplishment has inspired many other Nigerians to pursue their record-breaking endeavors.
