According to information on sports, Bayern Munich, the reigning Bundesliga champions, have redirected their focus to Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, temporarily suspending negotiations with Harry Kane. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Tottenham Hotspur rejected a €70 million offer for Kane and is holding out for €90 million. In light of this, Bayern Munich has decided to halt talks and explore the possibility of making an offer to Napoli for Osimhen.
The Italian publication indicates that Bayern Munich is not willing to match Napoli’s asking price of €180 million but is prepared to offer more than €100 million for Osimhen. The club deems it more favorable to pay this amount for the 24-year-old rather than €90 million for Kane, who will reach 30 on July 28. Discussions between Bayern Munich and Osimhen’s representatives have already commenced.
It remains to be seen whether this proposed offer will be sufficient for Napoli, who reportedly rejected a €100 million bid from Paris Saint-Germain. Osimhen has also attracted interest from Liverpool.
If the Nigerian international joins Bayern Munich, he will reunite with Napoli defender Kim, who has agreed to personal terms with the Bundesliga giants in a transfer worth over €50 million.

Meanwhile, talkTV host Piers Morgan, in light of Arsenal’s imminent signing of Declan Rice, has named Osimhen a world-class striker in whom Arsenal should be willing to make a significant financial investment. Morgan believes Osimhen can help propel Arsenal to greater success in the upcoming season and contribute to the goals necessary to end the club’s 20-year title drought.
Morgan tweeted, “It’s brilliant that Arsenal seem to have won the race to sign @_DeclanRice who will be a monstrously good addition to the team. But if we want to win big trophies, we also need a world-class striker who will score 25+ goals a season. I’d break the bank for @victorosimhen9.”
