Daniel Bwala, a media aide to Atiku Abubakar, has criticized former President Muhammadu Buhari regarding his relocation to London.
On Thursday, Buhari stated that he departed from his hometown of Daura in Katsina State and traveled to London due to the influx of visitors coming to see him.
Buhari lamented that he did not receive the desired level of peace and quiet in Daura, prompting his decision to leave for London.
Speaking through his former spokesman, Garba Shehu, Buhari emphasized the importance of obtaining the rest he deserves, stating that he needed to distance himself from the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
In response, Bwala tweeted, “JAPA, JAPATOLOGY SYNDROME. He claims he JAPAed to London from Daura because visitors wouldn’t let him rest, as if visitors don’t also visit him in London. You squandered the eight years given to you to transform your country.
“And some lazy legislators want to legislate against Nigerians’ ability to japa and find a place where they too can rest without visitors disturbing them. #japatology.”
