In a goodwill message issued on Wednesday in Bauchi, the CAN chairman, Abraham Damina, called upon the Muslim faithful to utilize this festive season to pray for peace and progress in the state and Nigeria.
On behalf of the Bauchi state’s Christian community, Mr. Damina congratulated Governor Bala Mohammed and the millions of Muslim faithful observing this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.
He urged his Muslim brothers and sisters in the state to seize this joyous occasion as an opportunity to pray earnestly for the peace and advancement of the state.

Furthermore, the CAN chairman encouraged Muslims to offer prayers for abundant harvests for farmers and the overall development of Bauchi. He believed the sacrifices made during this season would restore peace and unity in the state.
Mr. Damina also called upon the people of Bauchi to pray for a successful farming season and to overcome the prevailing security challenges.
