The Zamfara police command has told the residents that the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir celebrations will occur in a serene and safe environment.
Zamfara residents, particularly those in remote regions, often suffer from the terror imposed by armed outlaws.
According to the command’s spokesperson, ASP Yazid Abubakar, Police Commissioner Muhammad Bunu expressed this guarantee during a meeting with all area commanders and divisional police officers.
As stated in the police announcement, Bunu instructed the officers to ensure comprehensive security coverage and maintain peaceful proceedings throughout the state during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations. Furthermore, the command has dispatched additional patrol teams to all corners of the state to ensure optimum security before, during, and after the festival.

The statement also emphasized the commissioner’s words: “It is crucial for the command’s officers and personnel to uphold professionalism in their actions and demonstrate respect for human rights.” The commissioner was quoted as assuring individuals coming to the state to celebrate the festival that they would enjoy a secure environment to engage in their regular activities without any restrictions.
The police chief urged the state’s inhabitants to maintain vigilance regarding security matters and promptly report suspicious individuals to the appropriate authorities for immediate action.
