Call for President Tinubu to Initiate Inquiry into Buhari, Former Ministers, Military Leaders, and Others

Senator Shehu Sani, a former legislator, has appealed to President Bola Tinubu to authorize a comprehensive investigation into the previous administration led by former President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a tweet posted on his verified account on Sunday, Sani emphasized that the investigation should commence with Buhari, members of his cabinet, military leaders, and influential figures within the administration.

Sani stated that if the investigation fails to encompass all aspects of the previous government, the president may face allegations of favouritism.

He expressed, “The president should bravely permit a thorough investigation into the misappropriation that took place during the Buhari administration, starting with Buhari himself, his former ministers, his service chiefs, and the influential individuals within his government.”

“Furthermore, the president should not shield former governors who are presently free and even anticipating political appointments as individuals with entitlement.”
