President Tinubu warmly received Alaba during an engagement with Nigerians residing in France.

Born in Vienna, Austria, to Nigerian parents, Alaba has a solid connection to his Nigerian heritage. His father, George, hails from Ogere Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria, where he holds a royal title.
Despite his Nigerian roots, the versatile defender decided to represent the Austrian national team, earning 101 caps and scoring 15 goals for Austria.
