Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Recognizes Outstanding Achievement: Grants N10 Million to LASU’s Top Graduate, Aminat Yusuf, for CGPA of 5.00

In a remarkable show of appreciation, Governor Sanwo-Olu awarded Aminat Yusuf, the best-graduating student from Lagos State University (LASU), a generous sum of N10 million.

Yusuf achieved a rare feat by attaining a perfect CGPA of 5.00.

During the 26th Convocation Award at LASU, Governor Sanwo-Olu publicly announced this exceptional gesture after previously commending Yusuf on Twitter.

The award comprises a personal donation of N5 million from the governor himself, along with an additional N5 million from the State Government.

He said, “As a token for her brilliance, I will be giving her a token of N5,000,000 and the State government will give her an additional donation of N5,000,000.”
