Paris Saint-Germain’s star forward, Kylian Mbappe, has conveyed to the club his decision not to pursue a contract extension. Although Mbappe’s current deal with the Ligue 1 champions extends until 2024, it includes the possibility of an extension for an additional year.
Notably, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the 24-year-old has no intention of remaining with the club beyond 2024. This development may prompt PSG to consider offloading the player, especially with Real Madrid maintaining a longstanding interest in acquiring his services.
Romano tweeted: “Kylian Mbappé has informed PSG of his decision: he’ll NOT trigger the option to extend current contract until 2025, it means that deal would expire next June 2024 — as L’Équipé called.
