APC Leader Urges Nigerians to Fulfill Tax and Duty Obligations Timely

Tajudeen Olusi, a prominent member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) within the Lagos branch of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has provided advice to Nigerians, emphasizing the importance of promptly paying their taxes and duties to support the government in fulfilling its responsibilities.

The GAC serves as the highest decision-making body for the APC in Lagos.

During the 10th Assembly inaugural reception for Eti-Osa constituency II in Ikoyi, organized by Gbolahan Yishawu, the representative for the area, Mr. Olusi, shared this message.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the event, he stressed that when citizens fulfill their tax obligations regularly, it enables the government to meet the people’s needs adequately.

“While I have heard individuals on radio and television demanding action from the government, one crucial factor is missing: the responsibility of ordinary Nigerians. They must fulfill their duties by promptly paying their taxes and duties,” stated the APC leader. “In light of this, I urge eligible taxpayers to adopt the practice of paying taxes, as it demonstrates their faith in the country.”
