Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has pledged his support to Mouka Foam Nigeria as the company seeks to expand its business operations in the state.
The assurance was given during a courtesy visit to the Governor’s Office in Ibadan by the management team of Mouka Foam Limited, led by its Managing Director, Femi Fapohunda.
After the meeting, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Sulaimon Olanrewaju, briefed journalists and stated that Governor Makinde assured the company of his commitment to assist them in achieving their objectives.
He also highlighted the state’s favorable environment and conducive atmosphere that motivated Mouka Foam to consider establishing a factory in Ibadan.
Olanrewaju stated, “The governor met with a team from Mouka Nigeria and their partners from Morocco, and the focus of the discussion was their plan to establish a factory in Ibadan. They expressed that they found the business environment conducive after surveying the country.

As a result, they intend to set up a factory, and the governor has assured them that any issues regarding securing land for their factory will be resolved within two weeks. The governor also pledged to provide them with the necessary support to pursue their aspirations. It was a very successful meeting, and they are eager to commence operations in Ibadan as soon as possible.”
The governor emphasized that the state government is fully committed to making Oyo State a preferred destination for investors. In response, Femi Fapohunda, the Managing Director of Mouka Foam, expressed appreciation to the governor for the warm reception, highlighting that the state has been accommodating and favorable to the company’s business.
Fapohunda mentioned that while Mouka Foam currently has plants in Lagos and Kaduna, their capacity has been reached, and they are now focused on expanding their business, with Ibadan being the preferred location for investment and expansion.
