Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress in the last presidential election, has alleged that the Chairman of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, received in subsidies a total of N16 trillion under the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Sowore said this via his Facebook page,
“Aliko Dangote alone received over N16 trillion in subsidies under the @Mbuhari regime +especially exchange rate for the dollar. 138 so-called business people enjoyed N5.4 trillion in subsidies from AMCON. Central Bank of Nigeria Governor @Emefiele has given out bogus loans and grants worth N11 trillion to the rich and politically connected.”

“Federal Civil Servants have stolen N2 trillion annually from the national budget. Accountant General of the Federation alone stole N150billion. The poor have nothing to live on but they’re constantly blamed for economic mismanagement and corruption of the wealthy. People must fight back.”
