Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has consented to appoint nine aides to support his deputy, Barrister Bayo Lawal.
These appointments were announced on Tuesday, and the appointed individuals will work closely with the deputy governor. The Chief of Staff to the governor, Segun Ogunwuyi, signed a letter containing the names of the newly appointed aides.
The appointed individuals are as follows: Ajagbe Yusuf Olatunji as Special Assistant (Political), Sakariyah Kunle Sanni as Special Assistant (Administration), Hassan Ajibade as Special Assistant (Legal), Omoetan Omolere as Special Assistant (Print Media), and Badmus Adesola as Special Assistant (Domestic).

Additionally, there are Oyedeji Ahmed as Special Assistant (Public Affairs), Alhaji Nasiru Ayinde as a Special Assistant (Projects), Ajibade Waheed Ademola as a Special Assistant (Media Online), and Mutalib Adewale as Personal Assistant.
Sulaimon Olanrewaju, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, conveyed the governor’s congratulations to the newly appointed aides in a statement issued on Tuesday. The governor emphasized that the appointees should perceive their roles as a call to serve.
Furthermore, the governor has authorized the appointment of Miss Adetola Adedibu as Special Assistant to the Governor in Liaison Office, Abuja. Miss Adedibu is one of the daughters of the late Lamidi Adedibu, a prominent figure in Ibadan politics for several decades.
