Nyesom Wike, the recently-departed governor of Rivers State, has said what he would do if President Bola Tinubu offered him a position.
If Tinubu schedules an appointment for him, Wike said he What I’ll Dowill talk to his wife and friends.
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chieftain said in a BBC Pidgin interview that he wanted to take a break after eight years as a governor.
Wike claimed: “I’m going to take a break; I’ve worked for eight years; therefore I’m going to take a break.

“Tinubu has never told me that he would offer me an appointment; I’m not too large to serve my nation, but he has never informed me about acquiring one.
“If he asks, the first thing I’ll do is find out what my wife and friends think of it.
“I’ll also evaluate my own readiness. I never do something that I’m not prepared for.
