Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, the New Nigeria Peoples Party’s (NNPP) gubernatorial candidate in Ogun State in the most recent general elections, has urged members of the Nigeria Police Force to uphold their honor while serving their country.
Oguntoyinbo urged cops to be more vigilant in their work during a send-off ceremony for CSP Olusoji Alabi, the former Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ibafo, over the weekend.
He urged the nation’s young police officers to follow in the footsteps of the former DPO, emphasizing that doing so would provide them the chance to have fruitful careers.
Oguntoyinbo commanded the police to uphold morality, honesty, courage, and gallantry while carrying out their law enforcement duties.
He characterized the retiring policeman as an intelligent cop passionate about policing matters.
“I urge Nigeria Police Force officers to exercise greater diligence and uphold their dignity while doing their duties for the country.
“In order to help future police officers in the nation have successful careers in the police force, I urge them to imitate the methods and acts of the former Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Ibafo, Ogun State, CSP Olusoji Alabi.
Retirement is one of those significant life events that signal the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
