Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, in the February 25 presidential election, Mr. Peter Obi, has called upon Governor Alex Otti of Abia State to place emphasis on delivering effective governance to the people of the State, particularly the underprivileged.
Obi expressed concern over the extensive suffering endured by the less privileged individuals in Nigeria, who face numerous hardships.
During a thanksgiving service held in honor of Otti on Sunday, the former governor of Anambra State took to his Twitter account on Monday to share a statement in which he urged Otti to prioritize programs and policies that address healthcare, education, and poverty alleviation.
He wrote, “Earlier today, I was in Abia State for the Thanksgiving Service of my dear friend and brother, the Governor of Abia State, Dr @alexottiofr. I used the opportunity to appeal to Gov Otti to focus on delivering good governance to the people of Abia State, especially the less privileged.
