The former Secretary to the State Government (SSG) of Borno State, Alhaji Usman Jidda-Shuwa, has passed away.
Gov. Babagana Zulum’s SSG, Mr. Shuwa, fell suddenly on Saturday at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) following a brief illness.
The deceased was unexpectedly taken to the hospital for an undisclosed sickness while he was at the Muhammadu Buhari Airport in Maiduguri.
Usman Kadafur, the deputy governor of Borno, verified the news through text, writing, “We lost the SSG this evening.”
