Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima were Sworn in as President and Vice President of Nigeria, respectively.
On Monday, the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Kayode Ariwoola, administered the Oath of Office to President-elect Bola Tinubu and Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima.
According to the Independent National Electoral Commission, Tinubu, a former Senator and Lagos State governor, he was emerged as the February 2023 presidential election winner. With 8,794,726 votes, Tinubu secured victory over his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, who garnered 6,984,520 votes.
Peter Obi of the Labour Party claimed the third position with 6,101,533 votes, while Rabiu Kwankwaso of the NNPP came fourth with 1,496,687 votes. Stay tuned for further updates.
