Mr. Dauda Lawal has been warned by Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe, the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, to quit posing as the Araba of Ado Ekiti or face the wrath of the law.
Speaking to reporters in Ado Ekiti, Oba Adejugbe requested the state commissioner of police to summon Lawal to order in the interest of maintaining peace. He said that the Ewi-in-Council and other interested individuals had met and decided that Chief Fashina Ifamuagun would be the next Araba of Ado Ekiti.

The ruler required Lawal to sign a statement promising to quit posing as the Araba of Ado Ekiti.
