President Muhammadu Buhari has explained why he did not favor one candidate above the others in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary for PresidentPresident.
The President said that after failing to lead the nation three times and finally succeeding in his fourth effort through a democratic process, he had learned from his mistakes.
According to Buhari, he hesitates to endorse a particular candidate because he “contested the presidential election three times and ended up at the Supreme Court without success, only to succeed the fourth time through a democratic process.”

The 2023 Annual Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Lecture was held in Lafia and featured remarks by the President. It was arranged by the administration of Nasarawa State in collaboration with the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation.
