The White Witches and Wizards Association of Nigeria has called on Dino Melaye, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Kogi State, to seek their counsel before the state governorship election.
In a statement, the group’s spokesperson, Okhue Oboi, advised Melaye to consult with them if he intends to emerge victorious in the upcoming election.
Oboi mentioned that the group had already held consultations with the significant tribes in Kogi State and that it would be to Melaye’s advantage to seek their guidance.
A statement Oboi signed reads as follows: “We advise Melaye to see us if he is desirous of realizing his governorship dream.
If he listens to our advice, he will laugh because the trees and waters of the confluence state will vote for him regardless of whether Wike supports him or not.
“If he fails to see the witches and wizards, he will regret it because he will not win the election.”

Meanwhile, Oboi has cautioned that the warning issued by Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, may negatively affect Melaye’s chances if he disregards the advice to consult the witches and wizards.
He emphasized that their group has already consulted with major tribes in Kogi State, including the Igala people in Idah, the Ebira people in Obehira, and the Yoruba people in Kabba, and that Melaye’s victory would be more likely if he seeks their guidance.
